Our Remembrance Funeral Sheaf is a traditional flat-back bouquet, thoughtfully designed to be laid on a casket, graveside or memorial. Unlike a standard bouquet, the flowers are carefully arranged to face forward with the stems left exposed, creating an elegant tribute that sits beautifully when laid flat.

Each sheaf is handcrafted by our florists using the freshest seasonal flowers available. While we most often create this design in bright, uplifting colours to celebrate a life, we are equally happy to design in soft pastels, whites and greens, or another colour palette that reflects your loved one.

Fresh flowers bring a little joy to any space — and with a few simple steps, you can help them last even longer.

  • Start with a clean vase and refresh the water every two–three days. This helps keep bacteria at bay.

  • Trim stems on an angle when you receive your flowers to help them drink more easily.

  • Keep them cool and out of direct sunlight or heat, which shortens their lifespan.

  • Room-temperature water is ideal. Warm water can encourage tight buds to open, but may shorten overall vase life.

  • If you like, you can add a tiny pinch of bleach (¼ teaspoon per litre) to help reduce bacteria.
